MATHURA

Mathura, one of the revered Sapta Puri, is celebrated as the birthplace of Lord Krishna, the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu. Nestled along the banks of the sacred Yamuna River, the city is steeped in divine tales from the Bhagavata Purana and the Mahabharata. Pilgrims come to visit the Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple, vibrant ghats, and the nearby holy town of Vrindavan, where Krishna’s leelas with Radha and the gopis are eternally remembered. Mathura’s atmosphere, filled with devotional songs, temple bells, and the fragrance of incense, immerses visitors in the bliss of bhakti and brings them closer to the promise of moksha.
